Essential Oils Reduces Stress and Anxiety In Children

Essential Oils have been found to be highly beneficial for children. In todays society, children have become victim to more and more anxiety, stress and hyperactivity. Sometimes we as parents feel very helpless when we see a child in distress. We are always too quick to run to the doctors or psychologists to get medicine that sometimes make things worse– There are natural ways to treat anxiety and stress. Essential oils are all natural and come from plants, flowers, trees, bark, and more.

Sometimes anxiety occurs as a result of feeling overwhelmed and emotionally tapped out. A busy schedule and the stresses of daily life (even for a child) can also make it difficult to relax. Essential oils can calm or stimulate, help loosen congestion, clear infection, sooth coughs, sore throat and stomach upsets, and lowers temperatures, relaxes and induces sleep. Recommended oils can be used in a vaporizer for babies and children of all ages. Oils can also be used in bath water or massages.

The most important concern when using aromatherapy and essential oils on babies and children is safety. Choose only suitably gentle oils to use in low concentration.
